Michaela

This video is about a female weightlifter. This video gave a wide variety of all the different shots: XCU, CU, OTS, MS, WS, and XWS. The producers also did a very good job of creating a storyline in an interview. They used a nice blend of nat noise, voiceovers, and dialogue.
The video told a story of how a girl, yes, even a girl, can be a power lifter. I really like how they tied a "girl" stereotype to something that breaks that stereotype. I really like the way that they blended story with facts and dialogue. They did a very good job of following the 180 degree rule, keeping the video easy to follow. The creators did a very good job of getting multiple people to interview. It provides a lot more insight. But maybe they could have gotten some opinions from people at school, for instance.

End Of Year Senior Reflection

e-Communication has greatly impacted my life, even though I don’t plan on entering the AV Communication field. I am going to school to study music education, and I plan to take the leadership skill I gained in this program and applying it to my own classroom. I feel that I am more technically advanced than a lot of other kids my age. For example, I made my grad party invites myself, after coaching my mom through the photography process and photoshopping my own pictures. I have learned to collaborate with people I don’t particularly like, and I feel this skill will help me in my future workplace. As a teacher, I will need to be able to communicate with my students and my coworkers, and my job as AD greatly prepared me for that. Managing a set taught me management skills by allowing me to know when to adjust deadlines and when to stick to them. Leadership went from being a quality I never had to one of my greatest values, and I’m so grateful to e-Comm for teaching me all of this. Le...

My Chair

Hey Guys!!! Long time no see hahaha ok I’m done. In SketchUp today, I made a chair! Ya. Not too impressive, but I love it. I used a variety of tools to edit the legs of the chair, such as the Ruler, Rectangle tool, and the Follow Me tool. It was kinda hard! I put differents masks on the pieces, and I struggled getting the pattern to line up, so I improvised with dark gray. Also, I put a little design on the side of the chair. I love it!
