Pencil

In this project, I really struggled with getting Illustrator to behave the way I wanted it to. So I asked for help. Sometimes I struggle when it comes to asking for help, so this really opened my eyes. I also learned how to play with negative space. In other words, I learned how to outline with my background color. I also learned how the live paint bucket tool and the gradient tool work.

This is my first pencil that i created using a tutorial.
This is my original pencil, next to a can for the pencil to go in.

This is the other pencil I made. Remember how I was talking about negative space? This is it. I used a white outline and a white background to make them seem as one.
This is my creative piece. Using the shape tools, I created a beach scene. I tried to create a sense of depth and shadow using the gradient.

End Of Year Senior Reflection

e-Communication has greatly impacted my life, even though I don’t plan on entering the AV Communication field. I am going to school to study music education, and I plan to take the leadership skill I gained in this program and applying it to my own classroom. I feel that I am more technically advanced than a lot of other kids my age. For example, I made my grad party invites myself, after coaching my mom through the photography process and photoshopping my own pictures. I have learned to collaborate with people I don’t particularly like, and I feel this skill will help me in my future workplace. As a teacher, I will need to be able to communicate with my students and my coworkers, and my job as AD greatly prepared me for that. Managing a set taught me management skills by allowing me to know when to adjust deadlines and when to stick to them. Leadership went from being a quality I never had to one of my greatest values, and I’m so grateful to e-Comm for teaching me all of this. Le...

My Chair

Hey Guys!!! Long time no see hahaha ok I’m done. In SketchUp today, I made a chair! Ya. Not too impressive, but I love it. I used a variety of tools to edit the legs of the chair, such as the Ruler, Rectangle tool, and the Follow Me tool. It was kinda hard! I put differents masks on the pieces, and I struggled getting the pattern to line up, so I improvised with dark gray. Also, I put a little design on the side of the chair. I love it!
